Oops, because momentum in the "old lady Breslau" is Yes right! Moved to the top one and a half years ago the new Orga Chairman Henrik Strasser had set itself a lot. Now, he surprised with an all-new sport strategy.
After the already announced "renovations" in the rally of Breslau, which will start on the last Saturday of June, for the first time in Breslau and in Dresden, Strasser ("together we are strong!") Alexander Kovatchev now presented a new partner in organizing society with the Bulgarians. Entrepreneur Kovatchev, itself top pilot in the SUV class and in the past of Baja like also Breslau winner, introduces an attractive dowry in the new marriage: the successor of the "Balkans off road" will increase from this year under the "Breslau" label the offer on the demanding off road sports community.
This "second Breslau" should be no Doublette of classic Breslau transplanted elsewhere but have an own, distinctive character. In addition to the classic Wroclaw - marked winch and water passages - there is therefore now for the first time a "Breslau cross country". Here, speed are coupled with good navigation skills in the foreground. And also this is new: it also "tourists" are welcome, that want to brief overveiw in this sport. Nothing in the way is the Roadbook, Tripmaster and helmet.
The cross country version of the Breslau rally promises best rally raid format, characterized by long, sometimes fast stages. The profile requires no winch, at best a Notanker. Approved vehicles, without FIA homologation are rally raid. Thus this rally is also interesting for rally raid team, who prefer the fast variant such as Bajas, the "trophy character" of the classic Breslau not so much.
The line promises change: Poland is rather flat and the highest point in a 25-meter Sand Hill in Zagan, to promise the Breslau-maker for the South-Eastern of Europe new experience: is "three-dimensional driving" in Romania and Bulgaria. The race runs through the most beautiful regions with unspoiled nature. The riding challenges are perfectly complemented by the location of the camps in idyllic places to get with the special flair of the countries and the population.
18. Wroclaw in Budapest starts from 24 September to 1 October 2011. Here is a Prolog followed by the start of the show. After a connection stage, the first rating assessment also takes place in Hungary. Immediately after crossing the border to Romania it is direction of Sibiu, where the Kings Road - the highest open road (2300m) over the Carpathians - and across the Danube towards Bulgaria is driven on the Carpathian foothills.
After two days of rating in Bulgaria to the Black Sea coast it is Hungarian border, where the victory of Romania again in direction.
The organisers promise the well-known standards: from the medical service up to a week catering - adapted to the local "delicacies". The standard is the famous rally of Breslau. Note: Breslau is on where it should be also Breslau in it!
Truck teams which the arrival / departure to Budapest too long or is time consuming, the Breslau makers offer a special service: via ro-ro ship on the Danube to the metropolis of Hungary and back! The transport costs to keep within. The entry fees also: also the Breslau-standard - less a bonus applies to all those who have reported to the classic Breslau.
